Probably best Indian restaurant in Teddington and twickenham area - taste is authentic with incredible really freshly prepared starters - compared to most restaurants where they are frozen. Curries are super delicious and the spice is perfect. They serve old monk rum which is the definition of authentic Indian . It’s easy to drive past this place but it’s worth entering for the amazing taste.

Have eaten here a few times and I’m always impressed that something this good is hiding here! The food is authentic, really full of flavour and the staff are lovely - the owner has previously given us recommendations for our visit to India. One of the best Indians in London, and worth a detour for.

Everything on the plate has a distinct, complex flavour, yet when eaten together the ingredients balance beautifully. I found myself sitting after each course and thinking about what I’ve just eaten, trying to figure out how they made the flavours. It was, above all, just absolutely delicious to eat. The best Indian food I’ve ever had in the UK. It may be one of the best meals I’ve had in the UK for that matter. Finally, you cannot leave a review without praising the staff here. It’s like fine dining service done with the love and care of a family restaurant. The chef came out to say hello and chatted with each table, but he was just happy that we loved his food. I cannot imagine the prices will stay so low. I would have paid triple. A very special place which has only just opened. At some point down the line people from across all of London will travel for the food. So I think my best advice for you is to come and enjoy it whilst it lasts. It’s a special restaurant and a special time of existence!

I was bought a cooking class with Mohamed as a birthday present which was followed by eating the dishes as a family and could not reccomend this restaurant more, even just for a meal. The quality and taste of all the dishes are unrivalled, everything is made from scratch, a true authentic Indian restaurant with incredible flavours and friendly warm staff. If you want a new favourite, I highly recommend going here.

The food is delicious here. We had dinner with friends. I like the variety of dishes which are not the usual curry offerings and the vegetarian dishes available are so good. We ordered a mixture of vegetarian, meat and fish dishes plus roti and naan. All excellent. The staff are really friendly but it’s often empty. I don’t understand why it’s not full on a Friday night. It’s a bit strange being the only table of four in a restaurant. But worth it for a lovely dinner.

Came here when my sister was visiting looking for a nice Indian restaurant on a Saturday night. Service was fantastic, very attentive, genuine and personal and even the chef came out to ask about our meal. We took recommendations on our mains and starters that turned out great. Not your typical dishes that you get at every Indian restaurant and everything had fantastic flavours (be careful, very spicy means very spicy! :)) For us the overall experience couldn't have been better and we'll definitely come back!

The food was very tasty, I am not a fan of Indian food and this restaurant surprised me pleasantly. Thank you for the lovely hospitality. The lasagna is excellent.
